The Brinkley School District is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2018-2019 school year:

  • Executive Administrative Assistant

Prospective candidates must meet the below requirements & responsibilities:


Requirements
Proven experience as an executive administrative assistant
Full comprehension of office management systems and procedures
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Proficiency in English
Exemplary planning and time management skills
Experience using office equipment, including printers and fax machines
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
High level verbal and written communications skills
Discretion and confidentiality
Bachelor’s; additional qualification as personal assistant would be considered an advantage

Responsibilities
Act as the point of contact between the superintendent and internal/external clients
Manage phone calls and emails
Handle requests and queries appropriately
Arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders
Make travel arrangements
Take dictation and minutes and accurately enter data
Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system
Attend all regular and special school board meetings
Prepare board packets for board members
Assist with accounts payable
Work late hours occasionally
