The Eastern Regional Youth Art Show and Contest 2017
Sponsored by the Arkansas Art Educators Association (AAEA) was held at the East Arkansas Community College Forrest City on April 27th 2017. Twelve Brinkley High School students participated in the 2-dimensional art show and four had 3-dimensional works on display. Miesha Brown of Brinkley won first place for the 10th grade and will represent Brinkley High School and the Eastern Division of the AAEA in the state show in Little Rock. This show will be held at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library at 4800 W. 10th Street, Little Rock, AR 72204 from June 10 through August 31, 2017. The Awards Reception will be June 10 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony beginning at 2:30 p.m.
