In the early morning hours of February 23rd the Fire Alarm went off in the High School Main Building. Due to excess water in the basement that drowned out the pilot lights, a gas buildup was created and caused the Fire Alarm to be triggered. After inspection by the Brinkley Fire Department, it was determined there was no fire and everything was safe.
