Pandemic-EBT for SY 2021-2022
The State will provide P-EBT benefits to SNAP and non-SNAP households with children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to a COVID related isolation/quarantine. P-EBT benefits will be provided to students who: 1) qualify for free or reduced meal benefit and 2) were absent from school due to a COVID related isolation/quarantine. Students will qualify to receive P-EBT benefits if the answer is yes to both statement #1 and statement #2.
As a requirement for approval of this year’s benefits, the state had to formalize a parent-initiated option for meal application benefits. The Arkansas Parent-Initiated P-EBT Application can be picked up from the Superintendent’s office or you can complete the application online by clicking on the link below. All applications must be submitted online or turned in to the Superintendent’s office by 12:00 noon on Friday, July 29. Only completed applications will be processed.
