Notice: Brinkley High School will have a Gear Up Family Night on Tuesday, October 1st from 5:00 PM to 6:00PM. We need at least one parent or guardian and 8th grade students to attend. The Family Night will be held in the Brinkley High School cafeteria. Families will receive more information on the $1,500 scholarship students received last year. Light snacks will be served.
Notice: The Monroe county health unit will be offering the flu vaccine to all students.
The vaccine clinic will be on Thursday, October 10th here at school. Parents must sign a consent form for their kids to receive the vaccine. Notice: Hello, Parents and Caregivers. The bus driver will only drop students off at the bus routes associated with the primary address listed on the information sheet provided to the school. Due to overcrowding on some buses, we will no longer allow students to bring notes requesting to ride a different bus and to be dropped off at a different location in the afternoons. If you need your child to be dropped off at another family member's home, please let the school know they will be a car rider; the person responsible for picking them up must be listed on the student information sheet. Also, bus routes are created based on addresses and best stops for safety; therefore, you cannot drive your child to a different bus stop to board the bus. If your child misses the bus, please bring them to school. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you in advance for your cooperation. Effective August 19, 2024

On Saturday, August 17th at 9:00 AM a life skills workshop will be held in the CB Partee Elementary Cafeteria. Following the workshop, a basketball clinic will be held in the Dewey Snowden Gymnasium. Special Guests will include Arthur Agee of Hoop Dreams (1994 sports documentary) and Herb “Flight Time” Lang, retired Globetrotter.

The Brinkley High School will be having their senior breakfast on 8/12/24 at 7:00 AM. The location will be 1302 N New Orleans Street at Broadmoor Baptist Church.

If your child is in the summer school program, we are feeding them breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday. Summer School students are eligible for breakfast and lunch meals to be sent home for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These meals will be sent home with students on Thursday.
